Two Peas in a Pod : Arlo and Axel

I recently had a date with two handsome little men and I mean...it's just so hard not to have them melt your heart. Just look at those boys! I won't talk much because it'll be a disservice to them and honestly, if I continue, I'm afraid my ovaries will start asking me to get to work. Just speaking the truth. So, I'll leave you to these little peas while I plot how to steal one...they have an extra anyways ;)

The Women's Conference

We stepped into The Women's Conference: Taking 1977 Into the 21st Century hoping to walk away having learned things that one won't learn by just reading a few books on the topic and also hoping to be inspired. Hoping to relight our light a little because let's face it, sometimes we need it! And after being surrounded by the likes of Martha and Maria Cotera, Diane Mara Henry, Charlotte Bunch, Melba Tolliver, Rosie Bermudez, and many more, we couldn't help but be infected by their passion. But of course, Frankie and I took a lunch break at some point and I brought out the camera. Like the saying goes "Be careful what you wish for!" I wished for inspiration and to put it bluntly, to light a fire under my ass and get to work. Well, the women we listened to and were surrounded with achieved that and what's to come!

The Color Condition

It would be a complete understatement to say that I had a good weekend. The weather was as pleasant as could be, the sun was shining bright, and the kids...the kids were so great you guys!

I spent a few hours with Sylvia, Juan, and their beautiful children through their Sunday morning at Discovery Green's Color Condition. Diego, such a curious kid, you can almost see the wheels turning when he's asking something and Camila choosing to stay a little quiet but listening closely to what big brother had to say. They were the most fun brunch I've spent in a long time!

Also, I took pictures while they were in the playground and if you've ever considered taking pictures of your children while they're doing that...be aware! People WILL look at you like you're some perp. To be fair, I would've looked at me like that too lol but let it be known, I was there on assignment! Not as a creep. Okay? okay!

Colorful Weekend

Any of you have a fun weekend planned or just bracing for the cold front at home? By cold front I mean it'll go down to 60 degrees but if you're from the South, you know too well, we will be freezing! lol

I'll be busy on my end with an emotional rollercoaster that's the Astros game, a costume birthday party which I'll admit I'm nervous for, I hope people actually play along, if not, I'll be the only ding dong with a costume, and some photo sessions this Sunday which I'm very excited for!!!

Hope you all have a colorful weekend and if you've not visited the new Sugar & Cloth color wall, do! It makes for a fun backdrop for pictures as it did for me and he best friend.
